Mon. December 11, 2006Ray had to go outside and wash off the satellite dome on top of the RV due to losing the signal again and the clouds are so dense with fog, there is no reception. When the reception was received, I hurriedly went outside in the dark barefoot to tell him he could stop washing and stepped into a bunch of sandspurs. Really stupid, but I couldn’t find my shoes at the time.

We finally got good weather and knew it IS THE TIME TO SEE the world famous Riverwalk! With Christmas so close, the trees throughout the walkway were decorated with colored lights - it is so beautiful at night. They also have a lot of shops for those that love to shop like me. Ate at the Original Mexican Restaurant and Ray had a “Gringo Hamburger”. Food was OK, but not a repeat for us. We were looking forward to taking the boat ride along the river, but it turned chilly and we didn’t have our jackets. It was definitely someplace we would like to repeat if we ever return to San Antonio.
